Default Help 91' 3000GT VR4

Hey all, I dont normally find myself straying to far from the Mazda section, but this is for a friend. She owns a 91' 3000GT VR4. Talking with her last night, she is getting raped by shop after shop for even the stupid shit that can go wrong with a car. For example, it took a month and a half at one local shop to "import" fuel injectors from Japan??? I may not know VR4's or Mitsubishi's all to well for that matter, but I do know there is a ton of after-market parts for any sort of car and the fact that her baby was in the shop for over a month boggles the mind. If anyone can point out or recommend anyone local that knows what the are doing on the VR4, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thx,

~James
P.S. I read the FAQ and went to 3si.org and it wasnt local, so thanks again for any help.

holy crap, a month for injectors??? that is bad, horribly bad, check out 3si, or florida3s, or even I can help somewhat, if it's normal easy to do stuff, we do this stuff every once in a while, small stuff, like test pipes, bov's, crank pulleys, tomorrow we are gonna attempt to do a safc2 wiring job..... hopefully that wont be that bad, hit me up on aim if you want, mel16m... a month is rediculous

For basic stuff, I'd say Turbo Toys. Jim's the owner and he could take care of that stuff. He built my engine and maintains my vr4.
