Get a cooling system pressure testor, or borrow one. Then you'll know just were the problem is and if you want to tackle that or not.

If the water/fluid is coming from the drivers side, it may be that there is a burst in the the heater hose or Radiator return hose. It would be kinda hard to see unless you get underneath the car and check the hose.

Is there even a water pump on that side? I thought they were opposite of dsm's. Its just a hose, replace all of them just to be safe so she doesnt think a water pump is bad again, pressure test it as well.

I fixed the thermo and gasket and b4 the thermo was not opening....So I put some water wetter and water in her seem to run fine until the other night she called me...

I guess best thing is to just get off my ass and help her and look ..I was wondering if their is a chiltons online or not for this car?


Btw thanks for the help so far guys very helpful side of the forum

oh no, you are correct, the water pump is on the passenger side however the return hose is actually located on the drivers side close to the bottom of the block.

if u can change a timing belt, you can replace the water pump. And yes, you have to take the t-belt off.
