well i have to get a new head for my 1g talon and i was wondering if a non turbo head will work on a turbo car?just let me know




and if anyone knows where to get one or has one let me know

yes it will. my buddy knows a place to get heads for like $40, but they are in orlando.

Because they're almost exactly the same thing and they're readily available. The only differences are the cams and the exhaust valves. The NT oe exhaust valves are not as good as the turbo exhaust valves, but all replacement valves and all the replacement heads were turbo spec.

the springs and retainers are stronger in the turbo heads and i think the ports might be bigger and the turbo heads as well....but i could be wrong

I have to say I think the spring rate is different on the springs and Jordan is right about the exhaust valves and the cams. But as for the ports I think they are all the same. You should be fine as long as you don't plan on going over the stock rev. limiter.
