dsm not so hot

ok ive got a 1990 talon and at idle the rpms go up and go down then it hesitates real bad at 4000 and 6000 rpms and i cant figure it out any one have this problem before.

My 2g idles weird but it only goes from about 1k to 1.5k then drops back and forth. The Idle control thing is fucked.

would that make the car hesitate when you go to give it gas and excelerate, at like 4000 and 6000.
