Default how many people actually have a themostat

just a little curious as to how many have one ,cause all i ever have with mine is problems so its been gone for a while, but over the months of working on other dsms, i have come to notice their absence is common, but how common is it?

I have mine in. Just be careful when the weather gets cold/cooler. Your car may have trouble reaching optimal operating temps

always used whatever was in the car when i got it... lol, Just recently took the one out of the Goodwill car.

Took mine out but it led to even more overheating problems. Mostly on long road trips or sitting still in traffic.

That doesn't make sence. It should have done the complete opposite.

I didn't have one in the galant for a couple weeks and the sob would never heat up so I put one in and everything was all better. Never even needed a fan ( I took it out ), never overheated, even sitting in orlando traffic.

On a street car, I would never take mine out. Its meant to keep the car above a certain temp, which is ideal for effeciency. A cold motor is not always a good thing.
