Default 99 Eclipse headlight lenses all yellow. help me!

i got quoted for about 200 bucks to have them buffed out and they will be clear again. i saw the price of the whole headlight assembly and it is OUTRAGIOUS prices. over 250 dollars +++ for them. i cant seem to find where i can just order the lenses. right now it is like driving around with a flash light for headlights. guess it was the heat that yellowed them.

fogged on the inside? drill a hole

^^^ Yes, I agree. If you can't tell if they are yellowed out from the inside or outside, try the cheapest method first. Get some "Mothers Metal Polish" and buff it into the lenses really good. It will definently take some elbow grease, but it should be able to clear them up. Let the polish haze for a bit and then wipe off with a terry cloth towel. You should be able to see the yellow transferring over onto the towel.

Ill do it for $50 and they will look brand new.

Brake fruid and a brillo pad then they will need to be polished.
