Default Evo motor swap?

looking at GSXs and older JDM Evos and wondered if it was possible to simply put the probably lower mileage and more powerful evo motor into the newer GSXs...

any takers? Pics?

yes but why. its only more power full because some come with 510 injectors in stead of 450 and a 16g turbo instead of a 14b but for $2000 you will spend on that engine a reg usd 4g63 would be alot faster. just my .02

why do newbs always ask this question...but been there done that...I think I've read somewhere that the evo 4g63 and the dsm 4g63 are different in the fact that they're mirror images of each other and that you can possibly swap an evo engine into a dsm but it requires some work (correct me if I'm wrong)...it's worthless trust me

If you want to put a better motor in a 2g GSX then put a 90-92 6 bolt 4g63 motor in it. Personaly i would not worry about that and just get a GSX and have fun with it.

hey czech09 quit being a damned prick. 1st off i merely wanted an answer to a question, not to be called a "newb", 2nd off id like to thank the people that actually took the time to answer my question in polite and informative fashion.

Was simply wondering, im dont even own a DSM!
