ok stock bottom end means stock crank, stock rods, stock pistons, so stock bottom end. so he has some bolts big deal and its a stock block. anyone want to back me up on stock bottom end minus 95 pistons? exactly my point so don't bad mouth me. any way you have an 88 supra and a 85 mr2, come on just cause your friend has a dsm doesn't mean you can go bad mouthing dsm people in our mitsu forum. go to the toyota forum and post there. see ya

Yea, Mike you are right, this kid knows nothing about DSM's and needs to go back to where he came from.
There are no after market parts such as ross or wiesco and it runs 9's. He proved it. Game over

If you seriously think pistons and rods are all that is in a bottom end and you can race prep them and still call it stock than you are retarted , I know you can utilize stock parts and this Is great for him and it seams to run awsome but saying the whole bottom end is stock is a load of shit .

Yes there are stock bottom end(stock as in completly stock from the factory, still has balance shafts, stock rod bolts and so forth) 6bolt dsm's running 10s. I have personally seen stock bottom end and stock head(minus cams) with stock intake manifolds and no nitrous running 127 traps.

Lets everyone stfu and relax. n20teg wants to know if a STOCK bottom end can run 10`s. Not, a kind of stock bottom end. If the car was lightened real good, a stock bottom end could go 10`s. How many times? that i dont know. It would be pushing the limits of the motor. The money it would cost in everthing else needed to do this it wouldnt make alot of sense to just leave the motor stock.
