Guys I really need some help

I am Looking for a 4g63 Motor with a turbo and Tranny to swap out on my 2g ASAP. I have a 420a in there now which I am going to sell to a salvage yard once the swap is done. I need the motor and tranny ready to drop in and if anyone has one for sale and can do the work, like over a weekend, I am willing to pay. Reasonable pricing of course. PM me with the prices and times you are available to do the work and I'll let you know.

Thanks I will try that. I still need someone to do the swap though as I dont have a garage of my own to do the swap. I am willing to help and pay for someone to help once I get everything. Any Takers??

Umm...you do realize that this it damn near impossible to do right? It is far from just taking out the 420a and putting in the 4g63

Ok....Besides buying a GST or GSX then...what would you guys suggest to help?? And please dont be dicks about it. I am seriously wanting some help.

I wouldn't say impossible, just not very cost effective, here, I jacked this of 2GNT.com, to give you somewhat of an idea of the costs. Again, these are just estimates.

1. 4G63 turbo engine (stock) $1500
2. transmission (stock GS-T FWD) $500
3. wiring harness for engine $300
4. 4G63 ECU (stock) $300
5. shift linkage $200
6. custom engine mounts $200
7. chassis cross member $100
8. complete exhaust $200
9. intercooler, turbo, related parts $500
10. boost gauge/fuel filter, etc $300
11. Installation $1500
This totals $5600, and doesn't include unforeseen obstacles in the installation. You're gonna also have to do some type of rewelding and cutting of the frame, IT WILL NOT JUST DROP IN unlike any honda swap.

Now think about it for a minute, do you REALLY wanna pay around that much for stock GS-T performance, I'm not saying anything bad about it's performance but that's an aweful lotta cash.

financially it would make much for sense to buy a GST/GSX. Plus, you'll save the headache of doing all the work and so forth of doing the swap

:werd:

Swapping the 420a with a 4g63 is about as easy as swapping in a viper engine. Everything under the two car's hoods is different, even down to the guages inside. I've never even heard of anyone doing it 100% successfully.

Your best bet for speed (other than taking the easy way out and just getting a gst/gsx) would be to build your 420 and get a turbo kit.

K....thanks for that help guys

oh, and hes selling his Green so he can get a Red...

sorry to throw a gear wrench into the works ;)
