Default why the fug am i loosing boost???

i have all the things in my sig on my car, at higher rpm, like 5500 and up my boost drops like 4 pounds... it will peak at about 12 or 13 right at about 4000 rmp and then above 5500 its drops slowly. why is it doing that? i have the 255 fuel pump but i was gunna wait until i upped the boost.... if i put it on now will it maybe do the trick???
the thing runs which is really all that matters but i wanna know wtf is going on...
i could use the help, thanks

I think he meant it would drop a total of 4 pounds. But yes, a turbo upgrade is your friend.

No a boost controller will not let u hold the boost with that turbo. Upgrade, if goin to an evo b16g Make sure to get the adapter kit for your 2g.

You have you roughly figure that your displacement is going to draw a certain amount of air per revolution. As you multiply that revolution by thousands, you greatly increse the amount of air that the motor needs. You subtract that from what your turbo can produce, and the end result is boost. If your motor is gulping more than your turbo can produce, your boost pressure decreases.
