DSM newbie - where is the oil filter?

seriously i was looking for about 5 mins couldn't find it - or any can shape oilfilter. is it located in the bottom? cause i haven't look down there yet.

Ya, it's on the bottom a little bit on the passenger side. It's tucked in behind the oil pan.

If you have a GS then it is right by the oil pan. It is larger than other oil filters I am use to.
