A swap FROM an 03 eclipse, not into. I mean swap as in engine tranny ecu blah blah, not labor, sorry for being too vague.

Yeah, the new eclipse is an eclipse only in name. If you want a 4G63 from a new car, the lancer evo 8 is the way to go, I guess. If you need a 4G63 from an eclipse, lancerman/jerry had a quote "nice 6 bolt in great shape for 900 dollars ready to swap", don't know if he has sold it yet. Now, the cost of installing it will vary greatly depending on whether you're replacing a dead engine in a 1g dsm, or using it to power your hybrid go-cart to defeat the camp across the lake and to prove your self-worth to yourself and a young ben stiller.
