I need an engine for a 1997 honda civic, the motor just blew in it and i need a new one. Its nothing special and im not looking for anything special. Its an automatic dx so i dont really need power.

 

i maybe able to help find a motor,are you interested in selling the car as is ?

 

hey PM Civichik05 we have a motor at our shop and i know he is looking to sell it cheap or i will talk to him.

 

ok i talk to my boy we want 50 bucks for the motor and trans we need it out of our shop and we dont have a honda to put it in let me know.

 

ITs a 97 honda civic Dx, has cold air and everything works fine, just got a new paint job, red. And has minor dents in it. You can come look at it or something if you would like. Pm me if you are interested or on aim twoflipflops.

 

Well how many miles are on it, and what did it come out of? Is the tranny Automatic or manual?

 

we dont know alot about the motor all we know is the the timing belt is off and was used on a other car but the motor should still run and the trans is auto all the stuff is out of a 97 the guy did a b16 swap we needed the trans but it did not fit the 94 so if you want to look at it let me know 50.00 bucks it yours

 

ive got a d16y7 with 101k miles and 5spd tranny sitting in a totaled 97 ek hatch. has everything except the ecu. U pull it. make and offer.
