Just to save any potential buyers time.. because I wasted mine.

tires have tons of tread left as described however.......

one of the tires has a huge gash where Tirekingdom took the tire off the rim.

Not saying that It could effect the tire in any way but I'm not taking any chances with the tire leaking air or losing strength.

I drove 2 hours and put about 15 dollars of gas in my car only to find that out. that was a pleasant way to spend my day off.

 

There was a piece of the inner lip that got chipped, the tire shop said the tire was just fine...I even offered to sell him a set of brand new nittos 315/35/17s for the same price in an act of kindness. He could have gotten even better tires for his trouble. Both goodyear tires are fine, actually i sold them and they are on another car right now with no issues. But i guess if you complain about 15 bucks in gas and you were going to get almost 600 bucks in tires for 250, thats just life...goodluck..

 

Which is true. One guy said you shouldnt see any problems, while another guy said if it cracked anymore it could cause problems.

since when are two used tires without a warranty worth more than brand new ones.

I didnt want nittos but a better "act of kindness" would have been to tell me before I drove 80 miles round trip that they had flaws.

I'm not here to argue and i'm glad you were able to unload them on someone. I sure as fuck wouldnt feel safe knowing there was a gash near the seal that was holding the air in my tire.

ProchargerCobra, you are right... Your tires are Z rated and the Supercar tires are YR rated. Take a look at the speed ratings and you will notice Z = 149+ and YR = 186+.

Before you try to make the tires he chose look inferior to yours you might want to do your own research before you look like a dumbass.

And furthermore, I was interested in these tires as well, but if you didn't tell me about a gash in them prior to me driving 80 miles to come get them I'd be pretty pissed as well.

 

well just wanted to inform you that you were wrong...My car is the f1gs tire zr rating and here is the spec link directly from goodyear. So anyways man have a great day, and do further research on the tire before you call me a dumbass. it retails for $280.00 per tire. Not for nothing you were to call me and you didnt and i waited for you too an extra day...As for you being mad, man if you just told me you were upset I would have bought you lunch or something, or gave you the 15 bucks but you said nothing. I specifically told you I always sell good products and I didnt want a bad rep for something like this. Tires were inspected and work. Sorry you took a day off for the drive, sorry about the 15 bucks, you never even said you were mad...I cant read minds, talk to the person next time instead of bashing them on the internet. I just posted a heads up for the next buyer so they didnt waste their time driving without knowing everything about the tires your selling.

I don't know about you but If I saw an ad that read " like new, only 300 miles etc..." I'd expect them to be perfect, and if they wernt then when you got in contact with them THEN you disclose the fact that they were screwed up by Tirekingdom.

and no, I'm not "hard up" for the $15 and I'm not even really that upset. You seem like your typical straight up guy. But next time you sell something and it's not in the condition that a buyer would expect you should disclose that.

and like i said. I'm glad you were able to unload those tires on someone, I just hope for your sake and his the doesnt go off driving 150mph somewhere and they disinigrate.

and I stongly suggest you not sit behind your computer and tell me that you'd feel perfectly safe with those tires under your cobra driving 150 mph knowing that the rubber was broken off almost all the way to the bead.
