ok heres the run down.. my diff mount on my fc broke so i got a new one and had it welded so it wouldnt brake. now everytime i launch or go sideways it sounds like a jackhammer is under my car anyone have any ideas on what it could be? any help would be bad ass.. you can also call or txt me at 813 335 0638. this pos is my dd and i dont want to drive it how it is. thanks

 

you shouldnt have welded your diff on a dd. its unreliable and eats tires. thats what they make limited slip for. take out your redneck diff and buy an lsd.

why would i weld a turbo 2 diff when its already posi? i welded the diff mount....thats the weak point

 

Check clearance on the driveshaft. Might be getting wheel hop from the lack of flex, with a noise like that, somethings hitting, you just gotta figure out what and if you can create more clearance. Maybe stiffer rear suspension, maybe hammer out the tunnel a lil? But ya gotta figure out whats hitting 1st. Thatd be where i start.... just my thoughts

 

i will look at the drive shaft and stuff. the suspension is kinda stiff in the rear.. its on tanabie springs with kyb struts

 

maybe you should read what he wrote then go back and read what you wrote and then just maybe figure out what the hell went wrong.

 

i just got done checking every nut and bolt in the rear end and it still does it..
