Hey guys, got my carb in yesturday when i got home from Race Rock, I got the old carb off and a peice had broke off inside one of the fuel wells or something, ANyways I cant get the intake manifold off so tonys going to help me with that, here are the pics of the new Carb+Intake

hey glad to see you got your carb. if you think the old one is still any good i could have my dad take a look at it? he rebuilt carbs for a living for like 15 some years. anyways it was good meetin ya. keep us posted on how the manifold goes

First gens are my favorite,
12A's are the easiest for to tune/play with

He has a Mukini carb set up,which I dont know where to get jets etc etc.. and he doesnt really know the modle of it and sizing..So im hoping it just needs to be slapped on and it will run..

He sent me pics,and looks like the linkages are there for the carb..
But dam I didnt know the car was like this.. I thought it was ready to roll.
When ever you are done with the body work,talk to Vern the white FB like mine but had the wing.. His dad does paint and body,and he will get you a good price..If Landons dad built carbs for that long.He should know where to get the jets you need.

Maybe he can tune it comepletely out of you,or atlease help me with the carbs internal set up for me.
I have no experiance with Mikuni,and very little with Webbers

 

Sup landon, yeah you can have the carb...I found out what was wrong with it, a floater had broken off and was sitting in the a gas well blocking it, Let me know when you want to meet up and ill give it to ya or something
