hey guys sorry i couldnt make the meet my car was not done in time as a matter of fact i got some bad news about it today .. i need more parts i guess its worse than i origianlly though , so i need some help i have a 93 Rx7 and im in the process of rebuilding .. this is what i need 2 rotary housings, 1 rotar, 1 stock turbo, and the front and middle housing i guess you call it, i dont know the correct name the big metal piece that goes in front of the rotar and between the other two, also a essentic shaft i guess its called , i heard some people call it crank shaft , whatever .. well if any of you have any of this i can buy off you please let me know , or of any places that i can find this stuff new or good used shape PLEASE let me know so i can get my car back on the road any help will be great , and hopefully i can make it to the next meet ... you need alot for the rebuild,have you looked into just getting a J spec?

well i have already spent alot on the rebuild so dont want that money to go to waste .. bought seals gaskets and pretty much everything .. what does a swap run for .. im trying to find option which cost the least .. thanks

i have a complete twin turbo motor. It seems that you need the complete rotaring assembly,housings and irons. WOW>

I have a spare motor. No turbos. I will let it go for $1550.00 best offer.

what happened to the motor. Did it overheat? Oil? I know a guy that will resurface the eccentric shaft, the irons and in some instances he can fix the rotors (RARE). let me know..........

if you get a 13bre-cosmo, expect to rebuild it and bring it to someone to have them port it, and someone who knows how to extract the exhaust sleeves and to replace them with the ones out of your rotor housings. The ports are bigger then the rx7s, but not inside the engine, they choke them way down to give it more bottom end power, and they have restrictors in the exhaust ports which is why you have to change the sleeves. so, it might actually be more cost effective to rebuild yours, or find a used 3rd gen engine.

 

thanks for the offer but too much money for me .. i have already bout all the seals and gaskets and stuff but when he pulled my motor the irons were cracked just the front and middle ... back is ok need 1 rotor and both housings and e-shaft ... just looking to buy nice parts not whole motor , and yeh i guess it over heated the seals blew and this is what i found when i opened it up

 

Are the housing cracked or sratched. Be sure. Scratched=resurfaced
cracked= trash or scrap metal.

Again just make sure. Who is doing the work on the motor if you dont mind the asking?

I have a guy here in tampa that has a 1st gen with a 93 motor he got 575hp at the wheel with just a street port. He is carburated, the car just got sent to PR to get tuned by Rafaelito (Rafaelito Used to be fastest rotary in world) Still upthere with the best. Let me know i can have him do your work. Hes brother is my mechanic here but I have to send him a ticket to come over and work on my engine.
