Default 89-91 need turbo driveshaft and wire harness

as title says, the duche i bought this car from messed up a bunch of things on the wire harness and now that ive got the right computer i need the rest of the sensors working. good example would be that he cut the connectors of the injector clips on the harness and used spade connectors and electric tape. along with that they used the auto tranny driveshaft. for those that of you that dont know. this will work on a turbo swap but and this is a big BUT it is meant for temporary use only until you can get a real turbo drive shaft.

I know you dont need this car driven any time soon,

Are the yoke and rear mounting up OK?
If so,take the drive shaft to Mikes drive line on Nebraska, and few blocks SOUTH of Busch..
Have them make you a custom shaft,if you want alimunum, they can do it..
They will have it fitted with u joints, that are replaceable.. it will cost money, but its better than any Mazda OEM one in the long run,I seen Turbo driveshafts go up for $150. thats about the cost of the new custom shaft..

yeah with the yoke and rear mounting ok. its just the auto drive shaft is shorter than the turbo one so it barely sits inside the tranny and makes it shake like a mofo. so they make one for 150 cause i was just going to order the mazdatrix aftermarket ones if i cant find a real one.

Ok since this one is short then,
You need to find the correct way to measure the car for the length of the drive shaft,I think it falls something like this, but its been probally almost 7-10 yrs since I had to do this, and keep in mind this was on a GM product that the yoke slides off the shaft..

Slide the Yoke, wall the way in the tranny..

Mesure from the back of the Yoke,on one of the ears.. to the back of the car to the front of the rear end.I think the back of the drive shaft needs to be mounted..

I have a loose back peice that can you bolt up to get the mesurements..

I may be wrong so you would be better offf calling them and getting the correct mesurement, and see if you gave them a total mesurement if it will work, then maybe go to RX7 club to get the mesurement, for the proper fitting..

If you was going to buy a new one, then getting one built @ Mikes will be worth your time,
1)You will have U joints that you can replace..
Keep in mind,You cannot get U joints OEM ones for the FC driveshafts,

Your best bet will be Mikes,I turned you on to Amazon,You wont be dissaopinted in Mikes either..@ the end,You will have a stronger than stock driveshaft/U joints.. and its rebuildable.. Just make sure they tell you what the U joint replacement part is from ...example 74 Ford Bronco/C5 transmission etc etc..

I know you dont go on the cheap route, and you dont need to drive it "right now" so call up Mikes and get one made, and OEM Mazda driveshaft is like 350.-400.$ and you still cant change the dam U joints..

and do you know how many driveshafts I had to look through ,for this TR member to actually find a good one?

You got to inspect them good, cause the u joints always take a shit in them..

I got lucky and found Joe2dax a drive shaft at the junkyard,it has aftermarket U joints already on it..
