forget corksport..... they are expensive and you will have a several month wait for the motor. The BPT swap will cost about 4k if you do it right but I feel its worth it. It takes some custom work to get it in the SOHC and the wiring is a nightmare. This is not a brainless honda swap an will probaly take a month with all the unexpected problems. Check out my cardomain site

the motor is good for 325+HP with stock internals and 230 bone stock. the 180(crank) number is based on a 7psi reading but the stock turbo will do about 11 safely (230whp) and will peak at 13(i wouldnt do this for the sake of your turbo). at 230hp you have about 210 lb-ft of torque and will be a effective honda killer.

its sad to see the loss of a commrad to the land of no torque and bolt-ons. But I wish you luck, because next time you see me your not gonna be able to catch up to say hi

A pain is right... every part need to me custom made or "afro-engineered" to fit. But in the end you will have something truly unique which is something most honda owners can never claim. Besides once you get a dohc b6 or bp in there all miata parts work. The BPT was a bitch, but a n/a bp will go in very cheapy and you can mod that to all hell. The best part of all... no one will have the slightest idea what your running whan you tell them. "yeah its a mx3 running a 323gtx bpt pushing 14psi on a IHI rhb5"... the look is priceless:-?
