We have meets with 150-200 car turnouts. (this is a guarantee you haters ;-)
We have Security
We are Official.

Meets 2 times a MONTH. TWO TIMES A MONTH.

1st and 3rd friday OF EACH MONTH.


Next show: September 2nd 8:00pm
USF tampa campus.
Lot SOUTH of USF library.

I just read the 5th line down and it said 150-200 car burnouts!

.......actually i'm going to clean the sweat off my glasses and
read it again........... LOL :)

I had a great time the other night at the USF meet. It was huge. It was well lit.
there was a variety of cars. The people running the show were friendly.
It was reminiscent of the peak of the original Riverview meets at lowes.
I even saw some of the same PEOPLE that used to go to Riverview!

For you historians, this meet is within a shift knob's throw of the Sundome lots.
In the 70's the USF Sports Car Club held night autocrosses on Friday nights.
The lots were set up with mirror image courses and people drove flat out with
headlights to guide them. The other night there were a few nostalgia cars out
at the meet from that 70's era. There were many other cars from other brands,
and even a few hot rods and trucks.

It was a different time, a different place. I suspect that we are the same
people we have always been; that the things around us change, but the people
stay the same. A hundred years ago, we would have been in the middle of a
swamp and woods shooting the bull about horses. Today we are in the middle
of a giant parking lot ............and shooting the bull about horsepower.

Folks to find this meet, enter through the USF main entrance and turn right
at the intersection where the red/blue lights are flashing from the
University State Police.............then make the next left -Bob

its been a good meet the last few times iv been out. ill be at the nxt few aswell

I went to the old riverview spot & only one person showed, lots of drive bys but no stopping, I'm just getting back into cars again & want to find a meet worth going to, I will try to check this out next time around.

Thank you all so much for the kind words. We try and make it the best we can with what we have. We say it time and time again, our meets are what they are because of our members, YOU make us who we are. As long as we see commitment from our community, we will keep having USF Car Meets!

I'll be there

Always a great time out here with my brothers and sisters of USF.

So am I to assume we are having a meet this Friday, it being the first Friday of the month? If so I will be there.
