Ok so I got one of those nice tickets too. I didnt even get to see any races so I honestly dont think its fair not to mention I dont go there for the races I actually just consider it a car meet. But my question is what if we called it false imprisonment? My female passenger and I couldnt go to the bathroom for almost 3 hours, and I was shaking from not eating. The thought of group attorney crossed my mind but in the end it would probably just cost more money and we would lose. FML

You would be correct. My girl was in front of me in her car.... So technicallly I have 2 ticketts lol

(d) "Spectator" means any person who is knowingly present at and views a drag race, when such presence is the result of an affirmative choice to attend or participate in the race. For purposes of determining whether or not an individual is a spectator, finders of fact shall consider the relationship between the racer and the individual, evidence of gambling or betting on the outcome of the race, and any other factor that would tend to show knowing attendance or participation.
(3)(a) A person may not be a spectator at any drag race prohibited under subsection (2).
(b) A person who violates the provisions of paragraph (a) commits a noncriminal traffic infraction, punishable as a moving violation as provided in chapter 318.

now technically with so many people getting into a bust, they might be able to make a class action against the police for entrapment.
