DATE AND TIMES:
6/13/09 from 5 pm to 12 pm. Car show registration from 4pm to 6pm, judging begins at 6, awards ceremony at 11:30. Race registration starts at 4pm, heads up qualifying at 6:00, 7:00, & 8:00. Eliminations at 9:30, 10:30, & 11:30.

EVENT ACTIVITIES:
Car/truck/bike show, 1/4 mile drag racing , stereo crank it up contest, burnout contest, $400 hot body contest (ladies, call 225-247-7223 to register - weather permitting), raffles and giveaways, models, vendors, and DJs.

SHOW PRICES - All registration on day of show at front gate
Spectator $15 with flier (regular $17) *flyers printed off computer ok to use - right click on flyer image, print. Coupon only good for spectator admission.
Children 10 and under FREE
Car Show Entry $25 (does not include free passenger pass). *Note, IFO only charges $25 per car show entry, not $50 to $60 like other events that claim to give a “free” passenger pass.
Test and Tune Drag Racer $20 (open to any make/model)
Competition Drag Racer $30 (imports or sports compacts only)
Burnout Contest FREE

I was at the last one. Why is this one so much later in the day? It's gonna be dark half way through the show. Not that I have a problem with that, but it would make it harder for show goers to view the cars and take pics. It also makes a really late 2 hour drive back to Tampa if it ends at midnight.

Anyway, the last one was nice, so I might come up for the next one. Depends on how much time and money I have by then. Gotta fly outta state for a wedding two weeks after that so...

I think it is a better idea to have this show on sat night instead of sunday. You drive home and you have the day to relax. Nightshots of cars are not that hard just need a better photographer to take them. there are plenty of good photographers here.

Also night shows are better for us since we will have our display and lights

plus track conditions are better at night as well. it should be a really good event. won't be as hot and what not.
