Oh no, not Car Max, they will not give you shit! I went there with my MINI and they offered me $16k and not a penny more. When I traded the MINI for the S2k I got $18.5k for it. Just to give you an idea. KBB said $18.5k was around the good rating. $16k was around the fair to poor rating and the car was mint! Screw them.

Thats just it!! I dont want nothing else! No Trades! I just want a check for my car and I can pay off my loan and thats it! No more payments. Even if Carmax gives me 2k off of what I owe on my loan I am willing to put the other 2 grand on top out of pocket.....

Yea so $22k is looking good for me right about now! Sticker price on my car was 23,800 and I have the cash to knock off the rest. I dont know how much longer I should hold on to the car tho cause I know it is helping my credit big time

If you want good credit, just get a credit card and be wise with it. (You sound like you would be plenty responsible with it). Buy on it and pay it off alot and your credit will blow up, in a good way.
<has a 680-690 credit score @ 21. Not great, but I'm working on it. I'll be happy with a 750.
Nice job on the price of the car! I got mine for about $18k (I think it was $18030 or something) and I thought that was a good deal, I should have gotten it for like $16k!
