I just recently moved back to Florida. And a friend of mine told me about this website. It seems pretty cool so I joined up. I just wanna know if anybody still goes out to Gandy. (I used to go out there about 5 years ago before I moved. Before we used to meet up at Miami Subs and then we would all ride out there. Does this still happen??) Since I just moved I don't have any pics of my truck but soon I will.

not really. the cops have been cracking down on loitering and hardly anyone goes out anymore..

 

The sonic on the tampa side of Gandy seems to be the new hot spot.

 

cops seem to be everywhere down in gandy, so if your looking to not do anything and see cops pull a bunch of people over, thats the place to go

 

sonic is like the new hangout.....but its also full of cops and dumb kids giving other car enthusiasts bad names....just stay away from south tampa PERIOD ...lol

 

i was out at gandy this just past saturday and there was alot of nice cars out and no one was really racing and the cops came and everyone got out of there but than almost everyone went to sonic and parked in the winn dixie parking lot in the back, it wasnt so bad, alot of nice cars and nice people

 

i dont even go out there anymore,the cops out there are insane,i was parked in the shell station on gandy/westshore and i was in the corner with some of my lighting effects on..and out of everyone the cop singles me out and starts telling me how he's going to give me 3 tickets for lighting,then when a friend of mine left in his 03 GT Eclipse the cop went for his exhaust...i say screw it...to much hassle..

True cops out on gandy kill it totally.... no street racing anywhere but on gandy... and when people do race on the bridge theres way to much near contact due to brake checking cuz everyone is trying to see th freakin race... someone let me know a decent place that HAS NO COPS !!
