07 S2000- LHT Turbo kit
Havn't posted here for a while as it sometimes feels like I'm back at high school....
Anyway, we have been very busy and here's one of our latest builds.
07 S2000, This car was 100% stock making 204whp with no power below 6500rpms ( Normal S2000 thing)
We built a turbo kit to to not only make some power but bring lots of low down power without the fuss of lag,over heating etc etc .

The turbo of choice is a Precision 5830 Ball bearing with a billet wheel, This is rated at 500max HP. To keep the OEM feel we kept the stock exhaust and cat. The down pipe exits the turbo at 2.3/4" and tapers down to 2.5" to suit the factory cat.
TIAL WG recirc into the down pipe, TIAL BOV, Stainless feed and drain for a leak and hassle free install. The Turbo is water cooled and it tied into he factory water system.
We had the manifold , turbo and Down pipe ceramic coated before the final install
-10 drain line
The intercooler piping is 2.25" from the turbo to the intercooler and 2.5" from the intercooler to the throttle body. The piping has been kept as short as possible for quick spool and lots of low down power.
The oil filter relocation lines and braided and crimps lines rated at 2000psi and 600C. The oil filter is now very easy to change and faces downwards.

The oil filter drains easier and doesn't run all over the engine, it drains straight down.
Oil change time couldn't be easier...

Water lines for the turbo
The intercooler fits behind the bumper very neatly and doesn't require any grill to be removed.
Engine bay shot
The cars runs great. At only 6.7 lbs of boost it makes 223tq at 4200 rpms and peaks out at 287whp. This is with a factory Cat and exhaust and feels and sounds very OEM.It feels more like a V6 than a turbo 4 as it' builds boost at 1800rpm.
