I have to agree that Honda's are easy to learn on but I would think some old school domestics would be as well unless it has a carb.

Anyway. I am noticing that the EFs are getting harder to find parts for I think that is why I am seeing the crowds move towards EGs and more recently the EKs and of course the DC1 and DC2 Integra's.

Do your research, make a plan and go from there.

The EG is nice because you don't need aftermarket mounts to do a B-Series swap. A K Swap would be expensive but a challenge if you are just learning.

just my .02.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

that's the thing you really don't need a ton of tools to work on Honda's. granted there are always some but more than often not.

with the economy being so sucky for so long pawn shops are said to have some amazing tool finds right now
