lost fifth gear then engine temp starts goin up??

Default lost fifth gear then engine temp starts goin up??
im cruisin in fifth gear goin about 65 and all of the sudden it pops out of fifth gear and so i press the clutch in and put it back in it pops out again so i decide to just drive in 4th gear and then the engine temp starts rising very quickly?? please help

you have a fried syncro... check tranny fluid, this will help her last a little longer... your temp is going up cause the motor is running a an RPM too high for cruzing...

no it goes up and keeps goin up as soon as i start to move once its warmed up radiator is fine..... you think the tranny is gettin super hot and heating the engine is this even possible??

i have a fan toggle switch it works fine

i doubt your synchro issue is causing your engine temp. problem...probably just 2 isolated instances....get a tune up beater
