well i need to build a new block for my wife's car i have a extra y8 block and i dont know if i want to go through the extra wiring for vtec or not Im going to mill the head(witch ever one I get) 35thousands and I dont know if I realy want to do all the wireing or just do a quick Si convertion with a slight build up im not trying to get her into the 12's but I just dont know.....I already have everything exept the Si dizzy to do the Si swap and as far as plan's for bolt on's
FPR
cam gear
Si cam
H22 TB
cat-back
MSD blaster3
and a few other small thing's but I just dont know if it's worth tracking down a
SiR ECU to do vtec...I have one vtec engine and I dont know if I realy need 2....

If you have to rebuild it, why not? Might as well put it back together with VTEC.
