Default Overheating

My car is Overheating Bad If I stop at a stop light the gauge will rise from inbetween cold and the middle to above the middle. Any ideas on what it could be? When I start driving it goes back to normal.

Have you checked the obvious yet, like the fan, coolant, thermostat ?

Yup make sure you check everything, mine was doing the samething and a few days later my water pump went dead plus my fan quit working but that was an easy fix. Also check the oil i have seen cars overheat due to some oil missing.

If it cools off when moving it is air flow, your fan is not working correctly.
