Default JDM b18c versus JDM b16a versus JDM b18a versus poor mans type r- what's better?

ok so im undecicive, Im stuck between 4 engines the JDM b18c, JDM b16a, JDM b18a, poor mans type-r need u guys help whats better, why, which one is easier to turbo, cheaper, labor, etc, and what do u guys know bout totalJDM how reliable are those guys? got ****ed over once dont want it again lol plz help!!!!!!!!!!! Im putting it in an ek hatch or coupe!! Jus know that imma turbo it at the end of the day

Why do people make these threads? There is an abundance of information out there on these engines. Do some research. None of the engines you listed are designed to be turbocharged in factory form.

i know their not i jus want the opinion of ppl who sed i wasnt gonna build the block and head come on br is common sense i jus want opinions

OK. Build the engine correctly. Sleeve a B18C, get some forged rods and pistons, get APR head studs, get new bearings, gaskets, seals and belt from Acura. Use a quality turbo system (think Peakboost or FullRace). Get Hondata S300. Tune. Tune. Tune. You should have no problem doing this all for about 15K. Anything less is substandard.


OR

Just put a stock engine in a car and drive it.

Perfectly put. Any of those engines will make the power you want if properly built and prepped. And the price is about right as well, if your using quality parts and prepping everything properly. Of course it can be done cheaper, depending on how much work you do yourself, and varying prices on parts.
