New to the Honda game

Ok like the title states new to the Honda game, so please be easy on me :haha:. Ok i bought a Honda Accord and its lowered. For 1 it has a bad strut so i'm getting ready to replace that. A friend of mine told me that my springs are cut or heated. ((Doesn't seem like a safe way to drive for me being that my 2yr old will be riding with me)) $ is kinda tight so i don't wanna go with coil overs. So my ? is is there any other alternative to keeping it lowered with out cutting, heating, or buying coil overs? The car has 18's on it but seem to be to big of a wheel for that car. looking to go with 16's and lower it more. Thanks in advance.

You can pick up a cheap set of lowering springs for roughly 100 bux or so, Not cheap ebay shit, and it will usually lower you enough to look decent and you normally will end up with a semi decent ride. 18's are bit big depending on the Generation of Accord ( You didnt say) Normally 16s with a decent drop, but you can retain a good ride with 17's and a smaller drop, usually reataining a better more stock-like ride.
Looking at springs, on a budget, B & G makes a decent set, as well as cheap Eibachs or Tein. Just please dont buy EBAY SHIT!!!

^^ Thanks 4 the heads up. The Accord is a 94 4 door Sedan Lx. Well as of now i'm gonna ride on the 18's 4 a little longer then look at getting some 17's. The springs you mentioned would I go about ordering it of the brand names site? or go to my local auto zone/pep boys?

try , 94-97 Honda Accord Lowering Springs at Andy's Auto Sport
Those are a ton of brands and all of those should fit your car, double check though. That place normally has some pretty good deals on stuff, and its legit. And yeah 18s are a bit on the big side but you gotta do what you gotta do and ride on em for a bit.
After that try finding yourself a set of 16 or 17s on Craigslist used, you may even be able to work out a trade with someone or something. That should get you started.
