I think Im fucked
Alright the rex was fine for awhile, the overheating problem is pretty much solved, just keep a jug of water in the back seat for now, just waiting on payday. But now my steering wheel is upside down, who knows. When I turn the wheel it makes a knocking sound. I didnt hit anything, all I know is that I left it at work, because I was too sick to drive home and when I picked it up it was doing this. Didnt do it before I went to work. Any idea what it could be

Your description is kinda vague, does it make the sound while driving, or simply turning the wheel?
If it's the first (while driving) then it sounds like an outer CV is going bad. Simple fix. ($60 and some tools)
As far as the wheel being upside down, I have no clue.
And If it does it while sitting still... I dunno either.
Hope I've been of some assistance.

1 . Fubared CV joint ( prolly outer like cronic said.)
2. Your alignment is now way off as a result.
Do you like have to dirve with the steering wheel off center to go straight?
