hey tamparacing.

i have a 1990 acura integra (da9) 5 speed and im having a little problem.

it has the stock motor but i recently changed the stock transmission and put a gsr cable tranny in it.

my problem is that the drivers side axle keeps breaking as soon as i test drive it.

i have replaced the axle with an autozone axle because i had warranty on it.

the axle broke again so i got another one and it happened again 2 more times.

i heard it can be the mounts but i have brand new mounts that i just installed and it still does it.

i also heard that autozone axles are smaller than oem axles but i have no clue.

and im not sure if i need the axles that go with the gsr tranny that i just put in.

please help me out here because i need to get my car moving because im only 17 years old and i need to get to school and work.

which axel is it? and do they have the clips on them?

its the drivers side axel. and im not sure what the clip is. all i know its a replacement axle from autozone

you sure your tranny is good, that happened to guy i knew had vw vr6 change the tranny to used one, and broke both axles

thanks i will check that site out. and im not sure if the tranny is good. i mean it doesnt grind any gears because i drove it until the axle broke and i put it in first second and third gear. so im not sure. but does a messed up tranny really a possibility?

the c clip should be on the side that goes into your tranny if it doesnt have it would cause it to pop out of place and its prolly just breaking it

shit i say fucc they tranny get a b16a2 like me lol and trade it or if it dont brake whip dat bitch till the wheels falll off hoping that dosent happen lol
