Tein makes suspension for the CRX, and yet so many auto-x CRX guys run the Koni/GC combo. And that's for a reason, Koni makes a quality product.

Basic Tein Coilovers vs. High-end Koni Yellows? Yellow.

Alot of people think Tein is overadvertised JDM garbage.
But I have no experience with either, just passing along info that I keep seeing pop up.

People say that the Koni/GC combo is the best for the price you can go with. GC even lets you pick custom spring rates. I've seen people do off-the-shelf GC rates with yellows for about $800, with all new parts.

I had Tein Type FLEX coilovers on my Civic and they rode great, nice and stiff but not backbreaking. If I had to chose between Tein Basics and Koni/CG I would prob lean more toward the Koni/GC. I have no experience with either but have done tons of research and the Koni/GC setup seems to be the most cost-effective, high quality solution.

Koni yellow have been tested time and time again and still kick ass at the track. Tein IMO is more of the name and OMG JDM. Dont get me wrong I'm sure there are some nice Tein setups, but for the most part its all in the name and overpriced.

ok ive had koni yellow very good but not drop enough for me last time i had them i used ground control coilover sleeves and springs on koni shocks worked perfect when dropping enough that you can get ur foot under the car and you get the little to no bounce. and for the last suspesion i had tein full coilover set i think they are over rated i mean i get just a lil les bounc than the koni and ground control mix but u spend 2x more on the suspesion, and for the best suspension ever felt was the apexi suspesion on my boys ek coupe , no bouce at all and can be set to perfect drop just try to get it at the right price
