Default civic help...please

ok so i took my 1997 civic to get its oil changed (first time ive ever had someone else do it) so it gets changed, everythings fine 2 days later i drive it to south florida and i notice in the morning it was leaking a bit of oil, the spots were only about 2 inchs wide, but anyways, i drive home to ocala and it starts to over heat.. ive never had this problem before, so i tow it home...
what could be wrong? i dont know how long it was over heating for and when its turned on it sounds a little funny

Is your oil drain bolt/washer leaking?
What kind of oil did you use before/after?

Gently wash the engine/bay (cover your distributer, wires, intake) and the ground, lay some card board down under the engine, and see where it's dripping from. Then you can pin point the leak and fix it.

As far as the overheating, does it overheat when you drive (cruising on highway) or when your sitting in traffic, or when it's just idling? Could be a number of things.
