Default Idle Not Compansating for a/c

I got a Eg hatch with a stock engine except intake. my problem is that when i turn on the a/c my rpm's drop instead of rising. when i am at a light and hit the gas it bogs on me dont want to go acts like it want to turn off on me. the only way i can get it to go is slowly hitting the gas or hit the a/c button off. it does this when its normal temp after a while. can anyone help me. any suggestions.

What stock engine? D15, D16?
AC does the same thing for me, stock D15Bx.
Consider that AC takes a fairly large amount of power out of a fairly small engine. The D15's hardly make 90-100hp at the crank, coupled with high humidity and high temps, and the AC running, drop HP. And you feel that.

i have a D15 i know that it impacts greatly but it is doing it drasticly. my friend has a eg sedan stock with a/c and it dont drive like mine.although his is 5spd. but still with a/c on and at a red light when i hit the gas instead of picking up it slows down.

May need to replace the drier or the compressor. Sounds like a clogged drier to me. Dropping RPM's are normal, as long as it's not too drastic and it picks itself back up for the most part. If it drops a lot and doesn't go back to normal, try cleaning your idle control valve

On my d16y8 the rpms RISE at first then go down to a little above normal. My compressor doesn't even kick in tho since its bad. Im assuming its controlled by the switch then?

Check your grounds. More specifically the battery to chassis. A loose ground will cause serious power drop to the injectors and idle valve when the ac kicks on. On my car it did it as the heat built in the engine bay/ground cable, and it would idle lower and lower as the ac ran at a light. Also would stumble at idle randomly, idling at 500 rshared_pm or lower.
