^ exactly what I was thinking...plug the vac line running to the brake booster and retry. Be careful because you will no longer have vac assisted braking...it will be hard to stop. If your motor doesn't die after you do that, check/raise the idle rshared_pm and raise it some and clean out the idle air control valve and then reconnect the brake booster.

I had this problem and it was the battery connection at the fuse box and a ground wire, just check the grounds to make sure.

Im seeing wiring fault if its not vacuum related. Likely have a short.

I had a reverse light switch that would ground to the tranny every time I put it in reverse and the car would die.

Also check your battery level when it dies..seems unlikely since it starts back up, but its worth looking. if the alternator for some reason isnt providing a decent charge the battery will slowly drain (slipping belt, bad alt etc) and youll see things like the stereo and tach dying when you apply the brakes..but again the battery would be almost too dead to restart the car.

pretty much i wont even know when it does it cause the car is so quiet. I'll relize it cause it'll be hard to stop cause the car is off. i was thinking a vacum line i guess i'll just need to check every vacum line or something.
