? what do i need for a time attack car
ok i have a 98 honda civic ex that i want to set up for time attack and i dont really know what i need for my suspension so i can take the turns tight enough so i you guys will please help me ok thanks

well u need to find a particular class u are aiming for and go by what u can and cant do some make u be 100% stock down to factory camber

a TON scca, nasa and others is the sanctioning body
then there are prob 10+ classes or so
just look up what u want to do
vauge rules per race body
scca--production based classes can only do certain things, to unlimted
nasa-- is mostly power to weight ratio

well im a bone stock sohc and i got a little bit of suspenion work done and im just trying to figure out what class i should try for

obtain a copy of the rules. read them very carefully, like you're an attorney. then you'll know what you can and cannot do.
the rule book will explain which class you fall into that is where you start. when you read through the rules of that stock class then you can see what class you fall into when you decide that you want more from the car.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

if you are thinking about running with SCCA go to SCCA Sports Car Club of America the rules can be downloaded in a PDF format but they cannot presented as having a copy of the rules when you race. you will need to buy a copy of the rule book for that.
