I'm in dire need to do the rings in my car so I'm just asking for some advice.

I have a boosted GSR with B16a head GSR bottom end with wiesco pistons on scat rods with a stock crank, my question is what rings and bearings should i go with for this setup and what should i gap the rings to.

I would very much appreciate all the info ASAP b/c i want to get the parts tomorrow morning so i can have it done by the time i have to go to work Tuesday.

rings i would go with ordering some from wiseco,and bearings go with acl..as for gap others im sure can answer that

 

I would do Honda or ACL bearings. Wiseco rings. top ring gapped .020 bottom ring .024. You can ask wiseco for gaps when you order your rings. Can you post more info on the setup is it sleeved and what power? Make sure to check w2p clearance when all that comes aprt. Also check clearances on the bearing with plastigauge.

 

i have a ported and polished B16a1 head with gsr cams with gsr springs and titanium retainers, stock bore and sleeve, i don't know the power because i put a 250 walbro fuel pump from the last dyno test and a different turbo which is almost like a gt40r but i may be wrong so don't criticize. If you need anymore just let me know

 

anybody have some thoughts to give out

 

we'd need a lil more info. How many lbs of boost are you now running? and with out knowing turbo size, your practically shooting in the dark.
