when i started to put them on i put the shorter ones on first in the front. I than put the taller ones in the back. I'm now looking at my car and thinking that i just might have put them in the wrong place. So should the shorter ones be in the back and taller ones be in the front???

Please Help me by taking a look at the pic.

typicaly the taller ones go in the front because of the engine sag it helps level it out if the shorter ones are up front the tallers in the rear there probably a different spring rate so the stiffer taller ones go up front to take the engine load...

If their is no part numbers to tell front from rear always look at how thick the coils are. The thicker is usually the front because of the weight of the motor.

Length will vary depending on the type of car.
Stiffer springs at front is a good rule.

Normally I don't have more than one set off
the car at a time.......-Bob
