1992 acura integra starting problem

Default 1992 acura integra starting problem

i have a 92 acura integra 2 door, auto. every time i try to start the car a relay behind the cd player clicks. does anyone no if the relay is messed up or is it something else causing it. the relay isnt real big.... thanks

main relay is inside the cd player. needs to be changed.

its not the main relay that clicks. its the other smaller relay that clicks. i think its called the starter relay. would the main relay make the other relay click.

relays always "click" when theyre working its, when it doesnt that you really need to worry about them

a relay is a mechanical device that uses magnetism to close contacts which makes the "click" noise that you hear thus supplying power or ground to the unit that it is controlling
