CRX from HELL

Just got a 1990 Honda CRX with a D15 in it. It has been nothing but a head ache so far. the problems so far found: The distributor is getting power in, but not out. theres wires everywhere!!! its a Half @$$ jobs and loose ends. the Battery gets drained only after 7 crank attempts. and went we insert fuse's, the blow on contact. GRRRRRRR.
-Have a friend coming over to check out the distrib.
-Is there a re-wiring guru out there? and wats the cost's roughly go for?
-Were currently looking for a grounded wire, that may cause the fuse's popping.
Dose anyone have any advise?

I concur with Nandosol. A hot wire going straight to ground is an instant fuse blower. Last time I saw that, the wires under the RF fender had wrapped around themselves with some stripped off insulation.-Bob

Was the car driveable when you got i?
