d16 turbo needs more power
d16y8 all stock except for turbo running 7lbs, skunk2 longtube intake, fuel pressure regulator ,cold air intake, 5zingen exhaust
car runs better when at 5lbs then 7. its set up for 7 but i ease the pedel to 5lbs and she goes better. also a/f guage drops to very left and light sits at lean low side after highway driving but works around town. i'm thinking o2 sensor what about you guys. and got electronic boost guage and mechanic said i need bigger injectors because of something wit fuel pressure regulator and injectors being held open at certain boost and thats it. I need some more info about this too . need the help and have about 1000 to shop wit and can do most things

you need to have someone tune your car after you get an EMS or ecu socketed/chipped with the right program/maps
get a wideband o2 sensor and gauge
That narrowband is just a glorified christmas light
If not done correctly your motor will end up with a nice hole on the side or scarred internally

agreed, a narrow band is a waste of 30 bucks, loose the narrow band and see how far off your afr really is

my lag is your courtesy head start
ATTENTION.... installing a head gasket, head studs or pistons and rods in your otherwise STOCK engine dose not make it a "built" engine! stop listing you cars for sale saying they are built when its not!!

Please tell me you are NOT boosting on stock injectors... thats a horrible idea and asking for scrap metal..
You need bigger injectors and to tune the car, and what turbo is it? because itll probably handle more than 7 psi unless its a large turbo.

What he said. And thats just the cheapest route to not blowing your engine (but hell, its a y8..itll spin a bearing soon anyway) There are lots of other tuning options available as well, in addition to the socketed stock ecu.
