question about 92 teg

Default question about 92 teg

i have a 92 auto teg and i need a radiator for it and wanted to know if the 5 speed one is different than the auto one...

I doubt it but all you have to do is call advance auto parts and ask if there is a difference because you have an auto car now but are going to convert to manual and need to make sure that the auto one will work. They will cross reference the numbers and tell you.

yea im tiring to see if i could use a 5 speed one. also want to see whats on the auto one so no one tries to give me a 5 speed one....

Most of the time the difference is that an "auto" radiator will have outlets for the tranny cooler thats built in the radiator. The factory radiator (manual) won't have the outlets and when you go to Autozone or Advance they normaly only have the "auto" one. A manual car can use either but unfortunatly, you must stick with an auto radiator. GL!

some radiators come with the outlets there already if the car is auto to run the lines for the tranny. if the car is manual just leave the plugs in the outlet..
