Default idler air control

Anybody know where the idler air control is at on a d16y8 vtec? It's not on the back of the intake like it said. Any help would be appreciated. I can get pics of my engine if necessary. I'm having bad idle problems and would like to clean the idler air control to see if that will help. Thanks guys for any help.

It should be back side towards firewall on throttle body under the TPS. Try cleaning your tb and the plate too. GL.

Yeah it's just a regular stock automatic civic, just trying to fix the bad idle cause it's a car that I had that's going to my sister. What could I try and do to fix the idle? The idle is really loud and isn't smooth and quiet like it should be, and it goes from 1000rpm up to about 4000, then back and forth between those two numbers for about 10 seconds. What could I do to try and fix the idle?
