Del Sol intake manifolds

I have heard that the del sol intake manifolds have better flow than type r and skunk2 (basically a type r)because they are shorter. Any feedback????

hmmmmmm are you talking from personal opinion or from actual tests? I guess there was an article published not too long ago where they put the different b-series manifolds head to head and the p30 was supposed to have the best flow. I am still trying to get my hands on that. thanks though

nah man the skunk and typr r are better for a more aggresive camed/high compression motor. there was a article where they put a irt mani on a stock b16a and it lost power. so basiclly you can win or loose. its just like a 3ex on a non turbo(car that does not move enogh air) car its just overkill

well when hundreds of people upgrade from a p30 intake manifold on a b16a to an itr manifold onto the b16a and gain close to 10hp at the wheels and I see post after post after post of dyno plots showing the power gains then I kinda have to say the itr/skunk2 mani is better than the p-30.

the purple people eater needs a motor in it before you worry about what mainfold to run j/k itr and skunk2 are much better you can see it in the design and all the tests to back it up

Just to let ya know adam you cannot see the difference in the design because skunk2 type R and del sol manifolds are almost identical. The only B-series manifold that looks different is the gsr.
