im sure theres plenty of thereads out about this and i have looked at a few but i have a few questions?

my senario is that i have a y8 head on a d15 block but the head smokes pretty bad due to vauel seals moves for what it is i guess

1.should i keep my y8 and take it to the machine shop?

2.buy a z6 head? and sell my y8

3.which one is more power/faster

4.if i buy a z6 head can i use my y8 dizzy,header,intake mani,v cover,etc

5.which one will be more benfical and niceiest to my pocket

and i plan to buy dc headers and all types of boltons for the motor but not sure which set up to choose?

can you guys help me with out basing me ..nd does any one work in a machin shop and can tell me the prices for vauvel seals mill the head and resurface it/??

 

keep y8, take it to machine shop, it should be around 120 labor and parts

 

thanks mann like i wanna spray what would be the safeiest for my motor should i let the machine shop know that i wanna spray or is there anything i can do to the motor that can keep my motor running strong evan tough its being sprayed ?
