ok i juss got a 1990 honda civic hatch...i have a 96 d16y8 motor to put into it...now i know tht the motor mounts have to be changed but not sure how and what mounts i should use..96 or 90...and also how would i make the spedo work? its was a cable and dis trans is elcetronic...cluster? but any help would be nice...thanks

 

your gonna have to go from obd0 to obd2, and also your new tranny, is it hydrolic? if so your gonna have to get a conversion kit for it

 

ok yeh i know dat but wat do i do for the mounts...thats my main prob...its a hydro tranny and i know how to put in a cluch line....i juss need to know how to mount the motor mounts...is there juss a kit to buy or does it need to be re-welded with new mount?

the kit cost more than your engine, get a cable tranny.

 

Hasport sells a kit but so does innovative and i believe its cheaper. I have the hasport on my y8 tranny and its great.

 

Sell everything you have and go with a B series!
