possible type r trans

yea there is no bar or anything in the differential so ig i have sum kind of lsd transmission then?
i haven't driven it yet no bc im trying to decide on what color to paint the 4dr then i putting the motor frum my eg into the teggy and swapping trans.
if that goes well i will have a ls trans f/s if any one needs one

you might want to go to the dmv and order a Vin plate,cause if you get stoped they might check the motor and with no plate they have the right to tow the car

the motor has one but the trans has to have one too ? ah oh well where i live they dont car about that

My type R trans also had the lsd stamped on it.

it could be a JDM gsr w/LSD or b16a, b16b, or jdm itr....you gotta either open it and count the teeth or turn the input shaft in all the gears and carefully count the diffs rotations, then look up the ratios and see what adds up. (dont forget that it could be some combination or the above trannys, so it might take some calculator work.) those are the only 2 ways to know for sure what you have.

^^ or just drive it and be happy if its a ls with Lsd i know i would be if it was a ls
