Came out of a few different vehicles...is it a b20z or like a b20z1? Basically the same motor but it makes a difference whether it is JDM or USDM...any motor that has no number after the last letter means it is JDM. As for the USDM one, it came from a CRV (98-99 I believe). 9.6:1 Compression...nice little motor on a GSR or b16 tranny.

B20B / B20Z
1999 - 2001 specs
NON-VTEC
Found in: USDM CRV as a B20Z, JDM Honda CR-V and Honda Orthia as a B20B
Displacement: 1,973 cc (120.4 cu in)
Power: 146 hp (109 kW)) @ 5400 rpm
Torque: 133 ft·lbf (180 N·m) @ 4300 rpm
Rod length: 137 mm (5.394 in)
Compression: 9.6:1
Bore: 84 mm (3.3 in)
Stroke: 89 mm (3.5 in)
Redline: 6300 rpm
Redline is set to 6300 rpm but I run mine to 6900 and on the dyno it showed a straight power ban up to 6900 (I have the b20b 8.8:! compression motor with bolt ons) so if you get some bolt ons I/H/E you should be good to go.

The "redline" is automatically raised since you would normally run this motor with a LS ecu (pr4) which is set to 6900. As for the vtec head deal, you would treat this just as if you were doing a LSVTEC and you would want arp rod bolts.
